Get to Know Traill County’s Newest Veterans Service Officer

Traill County’s newest Veterans Service Officer has settled into her new role. La Lynda Blotsky was hired late last year after the resignation of the former VSO, Sheri Pearlstein. Blotsky says her family history serves as motivation for the position. 

Blotsky says she’s hoping to help veterans seek even the most basic, but often overlooked, benefits.

Blotsky says there are about 800 veterans in Traill County. She’s available Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm. The Veterans Service Office is on the second floor of the Traill County Courthouse in Hillsboro. You can also visit their website: https://traillvso.com/
