Halstad City Council Meets

HALSTAD, MN—On Monday night, the Halstad City Council took the first step toward putting a hold on cannabis-related businesses in the city.  Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson:

The second reading of that moratorium ordinance will be at the Halstad City Council’s October meeting.  Also at Monday night’s meeting, the Council set its preliminary budget levy for 2025.

Johnson also says the Halstad City Council got some good news following Monday night’s meeting.

The water project Johnson mentioned will be part of a new West Central Rural Water District that will include Polk and Clay Counties and reach from Crookston to Georgetown.
