Hawley First Responder Appreciation Dinner Saturday
HAWLEY, MN—On February 25th, fire broke out at the Hawley Grain Elevator, destroying a city landmark. Saturday, April 27, the first responders who dealt with the blaze will be recognized with an appreciation dinner. It’s from 4:30 to 7:30pm at the Hawley High School gym…and it’s open to all first responders and the public. There will be a speech recognizing each first responder who helped put out the grain elevator fire. And that will be followed by a social hour with brats and hot dogs served by the Hawley Jaycees and root beer floats served by the Hawley Women of Today. This is a free will donation event with donations going to the Hawley Police and Fire Departments and Hawley Emergency Response Team. Again, that’s Saturday from 4:30 to 7:30pm at the Hawley High School gym.
