Hillsboro School District to have very “tight” budget for 2024/2025 school year
Budget talks dominated discussion at the Hillsboro School Board meeting on Thursday morning. Hillsboro Superintendent Jon Dryburgh says the 2024/2025 school budget is very “tight”, and he explains why.
Dryburgh says that recent staffing changes, and class combinations may help out the budget a little bit.
Dryburgh says that due to these issues with the budget, the Hillsboro School Board voted to increase their mills for the upcoming school year.
