Holiday Fire Safety

As we move closer and closer to the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, the Hillsboro fire department is encouraging people to follow proper fire safety practices. Hillsboro Assistant Fire Chief Jake Rust and Secretary/Treasurer Steve Haffely share some reminders that you should always follow. 

With the cooling weather people are also reminded to not plug in multiple space heaters in a single outlet, and to not rest things on or against them.
