International Joint Commission on Water Management

R&J Ag Reporter Nick Revier was at the 42nd Annual Red River Basin Summit Commission in Grand Forks earlier this week. During his visit he had the chance to catch up with US Commissioner to the International Joint Commission on Water Management Lance Yohe. Commissioner Yohe tells us more about his commission, and the kinds of things they work on. 

Commissioner Yohe also discussed some of the specific things his commission faces when it comes to the Red River Valley, and the issues that face Minnesota, North Dakota and Canada. 

Commissioner Yohe says water quality is also a major focus for his commission when it comes to the Red River Valley. Especially when it comes to nutrient issues, and tile drainage.
