Itasca State Park gearing up for cold weather
The staff at Itasca State Park are gearing up for the cool weather, and will be shutting down much of the park’s campgrounds for the year. Itasca State Park Naturalist Connie Cox tells us what is shutting down, and what will remain open.
Cox says some of their cabins will also be shutting down for the year for the same reasons.
For more information on Itasca State Park and their fall camping opportunities go to the Park’s webpage on the Minnesota DNR website at www.dnr.state.mn.us. Camping is also available for deer hunters looking to hunt the park grounds.
