Jim Krogstad talks retirement from CHS

On yesterday’s KRJB Farm & Field show, R&J Ag Reporter Nick Revier talked with Jim Krogstad, a longtime branch manager with CHS. Krogstad has recently retired after more than 30 years in the grain industry. He says there have been many changes during his years in the grain business, including bigger trucks.

Krogstad says, not only has the transportation changed through the years, but also changes in the crops in the area.

Krogstad talks about the crops in the area this year.

As for retirement, Krogstad says:

Jim Krogstad started in the grain business in the mid-80s. He managed the CHS branch at Twin Valley for many years before going to the Winger location.
