Landmark Center In Halstad Vandalized
HALSTAD, MN—Some time around Labor Day, someone visited the Landmark in Halstad—even though it was closed.
Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson says the incident has been reported to the Norman County Sheriff’s Office, but no word if there has been an arrest. Johnson also had some good news about the Landmark from Monday’s Halstad City Council meeting.
Also at Monday’s City Council meeting, Johnson says the preliminary tax levy was set with a five percent increase over last year. But a final levy rate won’t be determined until the Halstad Council’s December meeting.
