Mahnomen City Council looking to raise sewer and water rates 

The Mahnomen City Council is looking to raise water rates. At the Mahnomen City Council meeting on Monday the council had discussions on what the increase could look like, but no action was taken. Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther tells us more about what was discussed, and why. 

The city street department also had a discussion with the council about winter parking. With the arrival of the snow Guenther reminds Mahnomen residents to be in compliance when it comes to parking. 

Lastly Guenther reminds everyone about some upcoming holiday events happening around the City of Mahnomen. 

Other agenda items included a property abatement, and a public hearing on a garbage complaint.
