Mahnomen Hospital Bonding Update 

Mahnomen County and Hospital officials are continuing to put in work down in St Paul as they are trying to get state funds that would go toward the Mahnomen Hospital and Nursing Home project. Mahnomen County Commission Chairman Darvin Schoenborn says they are still working on getting this funding but he’s growing more frustrated as time goes on

Schoenborn also voiced his frustrations with Minnesota State Leadership and the lack of communication between them and county/state officials when it comes to a new $5.5 million Mahnomen overpass project. 

Schoenborn also questions why funding an overpass is a priority when they’re struggling to get funds for a hospital.
