(McGregor, MN) — The McGregor City Council returned for their first 2022 meeting Tuesday evening with updates on outstanding sewer/water issues and upcoming City projects from the McGregor Fire Station.

In our recap of the meeting’s events with McGregor Mayor Dake Olson, he said that sewer/water concerns opened discussion on the issue of outstanding payments on bills.

Those outstanding bills could get some assistance through Lakes and Pines.

The City and Fire Department are continuing to look for hooks up for water and sewer with their upcoming projects.

The City of McGregor is also looking into possible Habitat for Humanity projects.

The McGregor Area Chamber of Commerce and the City are also in the process of developing a contest for McGregor Area Businesses.

The Council did approve keeping the meetings on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6pm.

The McGregor City Council will have a special meeting on January 11th at 2pm to approve the bids for the new Fire Station.
