Minnesota DNR hosting public meeting in regards to future risks of feral pigs
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is hosting an online public meeting from 6:30-8:00 pm today to discuss the growing potential risk that is feral pigs. Leslie McInenly of the Minnesota DNR shares more information.
McInenly also explained why the state is starting to focus more on feral pig risks and response despite not having an established population of them.
McInenly wrapped up by explaining the negative impact that could happen if this potential risk does in fact become a problem.
Registration for the public meeting is not required and more information on the meeting can be found on the Minnesota DNR Website at www.dnr.state.mn.us/wildlife/escaped-animals.html.
