Minnesota DNR invites hunters to share wildlife observations
With Minnesota deer hunting seasons coming up the Minnesota DNR is asking hunters to start using the their online log for deer and other wildlife sightings. The Minnesota DNR will use the information shared to supplement population estimates which will help manage local wildlife.
Hunters can enter the information from their hunts on the Minnesota DNR website. Some animals hunters can report sightings on include deer, turkey, bear, and other wildlife species. Hunters are also encouraged to fill out a report after each hunt even if they don’t see any deer that day.
This log will be available to fill out through the end of 2023. More information can be found on the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources website.
