Minnesota DNR looking to lower statewide walleye bag limit 

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is looking to change the state wide walleye bag limit during the Minnesota Legislative Session next year. Northwest Minnesota Fisheries Supervisor Nathan Olson says the DNR is currently looking for resident feedback on this major change. 

With the ice starting to freeze over, Olson also gave an update on how the ice is “shaping up” across the region, as we move into the early stages of the ice fishing season.
