Minnesota minimum wage increasing
Many new laws will be going into effect on January 1 and one that has caught the attention of many is the minimum wage increase. Starting on January 1 the Minnesota minimum wage will rise by 26 cents. Large employers will now have to pay at least $10.85 an hour, while small employers will pay at least $8.85 an hour.
Minnesota isn’t the only state increasing their minimum wage as 22 other states will also be increasing their minimum wage. North Dakota’s minimum wage will not be increasing and will stay at the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.
