MN Senate Ag Committee Chair talks upcoming legislative session
The Minnesota Senate will be going back to work this February, and agriculture legislation is always a major topic. MN Senate Ag Committee Chair Aric Putnam says that water quality legislation may be a focus this year.
Putnam says that legislation that makes agriculture more affordable, profitable and efficient will be a focus of the Ag Committee. He also predicts that it will be a much quieter session than 2023.
