Norman County East Referendum Election is May 14
The Norman County East School District will be holding their referendum election on Tuesday, May 14 at the Flom Town Hall. Two questions will be appearing on the ballot with question two only being able to pass if question one passes. Norman County East Superintendent Rob Nudell breaks down the details of question one.
Nudell also broke down question two and explained what would happen if it passed.
At their informational meetings over the month the district has been asked about the tax implications, and Nudell breaks that down as well.
Community members have been expressing their concern on the steady decrease in enrollment throughout the election process, and Nudell addressed those concerns. He also thinks that passing the referendum could actually help with this issue.
Voting can be done in person at the Flom Town Hall on Tuesday, May 14 or during school hours in the Norman County East School Office until Monday, May 13. For the full interview with Rob Nudell tune into the KRJB Kaleidoscope on Thursday at 9:00 AM on 106.5 KRJB.
