Oh Canada: Townsend Theatre w/ Charles Fisher

On 4/30, Townsend Theatre had not only wrapped up the month of April but their Tour De Fort season as well. And the best way to cap off this season is with a performance by Angelique Francis, Juno Award and Maple Blues Award Winner who had played with world class artists. What are the Maple Blues Awards?

Clearly, Angelique Francis is very very talented and is also very multi-faceted within the music industry.

And what better venue to show off her talents than Townsend Theatre!

The theatre had been around for a very very long time with a huge credit going to the community support.

Charles tells us about a lot of the bands that have performed at Townsend in the past.

The other special thing about the theatre is how heavily volunteer oriented it is.

There’s also a lot of pride taken in showing hospitality towards these visiting artists.

Ed then asked Charles how long he had been involved with Townsend Theatre.

Does the theatre do anything outside of indoor performances?

Townsend Theatre is an amazing venue that is backed by numerous volunteers within the community, and is a prime destination for musical talent both locally and nationally.
