One Injured in SUV/Train Collision in Buxton

An 18-year-old male was seriously injured when his SUV collided with a train Thursday morning in Buxton.  According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the SUV was going east on 15th Street NE.  A train headed south where 15th Street intersects with the train crossing.  The SUV hit the train and was dragged about 50 feet down the tracks.  The driver, whose name has not been released, was airlifted to a Fargo hospital with serious injuries.  The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating this crash.
