Norman County East losing pair of longtime staff members to retirement 

The Norman County East School Board approved the resignation of a pair of longtime staff members at their meeting on Monday night. Norman County East Superintendent Rob Nudell says these staff members will be retiring, and that they will begin the search for their replacements soon. 

Nudell says the school board also approved a new district cell phone policy. 

The NCE School Board also approved a construction chance order after a contractor didn’t include labor costs in their bid. Nudell says the new bid still came in under budget, and that the project timeline remains the same. 

Other agenda items included an overnight trip for the NCE E-Sports team, as they will be going to the State E-Sports Competition in St Cloud, and the approval of a school picture contract with Shawn’s Pix.
