Polk County Commission News
The Polk County Commission will be down to four members for a while. District 4 Commissioner Joan Lee explains.
Lee says past history shows the County Commission has usually been able to reach a consensus on matters, and she hopes that will continue while the Commission is short one member.
In other business from the Polk County Commission’s late January meeting, Lee says the County will hold a moratorium on selling THC edibles…after the State Legislature last year passed a bill allowing them to be sold in Minnesota.
Lee says there’s also some word on the street about THC in Polk County that just isn’t true.
Lee adds that consumers need to be aware of what a recommended serving size is. She goes on to say that cities within Polk County will be able to make their own decision on selling THC edibles.
