Polk County Fair Kicks off Wednesday 

The 123rd Polk County Fair kicks off Wednesday, and the fair board has put together a full schedule of events and attractions. Polk County Fair Board President Danny Grunhovd, highlights some of the major things they have going on throughout the week.

A staple of the Polk County Fair is the State Championship Baja races, which Grunhovd claims was first invented at the Polk County Fair. 

Lastly Grunhovd says they have a wide selection of new acts performing on the Hanson Memorial Free Stage starting on Friday.
