Polk County Sheriff discusses Mental Health Call Center 

During his appearance on the KKCQ Food for Thought Program, Polk County Sheriff Jim Tadman told us about a Mental Health Call Center that’s available to Polk County residents, and the surrounding communities. During his discussion Tadman told us how the call center differs from calling 911, and what its purpose is. 

One question Tadman says he often receives about the call center is if they get law enforcement involved with calls, which he talked more about. 

Tadman says if you’re not going through a crisis but would like to learn more about the center, and get familiar with them and their resources, you’re able to call them and do a test call.
