Provosts Fill Role of Hillsboro Business Association President
The Hillsboro Business Association met for the first time in 2024, Wednesday. At the start of the meeting, the President’s role was vacant. By the end of the meeting, the HBA had two representatives in that role: Paul and Terra Provost of The Hillsboro Cafe. Terra Provost also operates Crossroads Vitality Natural Health. Terra shares with R & J News that they are excited to fill the role as Co-Presidents and are looking forward to serving the community.
The members of the HBA gladly agreed to allow this shared responsibility in order to fill the vacancy. The rest of the officer team includes: Paul and Sheila Geray, Vice President and Treasurer respectively, at Paul’s Hometown Repair; Secretary-Brooke Alfson at Valley Plains Equipment and now Past President, J.R. Strom at Ohnstad Twichell PC.
City Auditor, Casey Eggermont also presented ideas and activities for City Government Week, the first week in April. Other upcoming HBA events include the Adult Bean Bag Tournament and the Pancake Feed, tentatively scheduled for March 23rd and April 13th respectively.
