Rare Tractors to be on display at Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion
The 71st Annual Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion (WMSTR) kicks off today in Rollag and this year they are featuring John Deere and its storied history in North American agriculture. WMSTR president Roger Meyer says there will be some very rare pieces as a part of this year’s display including a pair of tractors with less than 100 in existence.
Of all the items that will catch the eye of John Deere enthusiasts, a one of one John Deere prototype might turn the most heads at this year’s reunion. Meyer tells us more about this item, and its unique story.
For more information on the WMSTR go to their website at rollag.com. KRJB 106.5 FM will be broadcasting live from the reunion Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:00.
