Senate Republicans set 2025 Legislative Priorities
Senate Republicans held a press conference on Thursday to set their legislative priorities for 2025. Senate Leader Mark Johnson (R-East Grand Forks) explains what their priorities will be for the rest of the session.
Earlier this week the Senate did a vote on whether to expel Senator Nicole Mitchell from the Senate, as she is currently facing felony charges for breaking into her step mothers house last year. The vote failed, and Johnson responded to the result saying it’s time to bring integrity back to the Minnesota Senate.
Johnson said the vote was also a good test for the group of Democratic Senators calling themselves the Blue Dog Democrats.
The full conversation with Senator Mark Johnson can be heard during the KRJB Kaleidoscope which airs today at 9:00 AM on 106.5 FM.
