Seyfried Recalled In Central Valley School Board Special Election
BUXTON, ND–Central Valley School District voters made their voices clear in Tuesday’s special recall election. The nearly 300 counted votes overwhelmingly favored challenger Curtis Hong, as he received 258 votes to current board member David Seyfried’s 32.
Seyfried was called into question following concerns surrounding a school play this past spring.
Hong is set to take over representation on the board of Area Four, which includes Wold and Ervin Townships in Traill County, completing the remainder of Seyfried’s two-year term. The board will officially canvass the votes at their next meeting on October 7th.
