“Snow Days are Snow Days” – No E-Learning at Hillsboro School District

Hillsboro, ND — Snow Days are Snow Days, not E-learning days, at the Hillsboro School District. When the Hillsboro School cancelled classes this past week due to the blizzard conditions, students weren’t required to log into their Google Classrooms or do any sort of homework. As far as High School Principal Terry Baesler is concerned, they should be building snowman, watching the Price is Right, or playing video games. He notes that E-learning days can present challenges for some students and that they have the ability to take a few snow days each year without the worries of making the time up.

Students will also get a scheduled day off this coming Monday as well for Martin Luther King Jr day.  However, Principal Baesler says for teachers it will be an in-service day.
