Some “Sweet Success” at the Polk County Fair in Fertile

The 2023 Polk County Fair Chocolate Contest was held on Wednesday, July 5th and the following winners were honored and announced:

Adult Winners:

1st place: Jesiah Showers (Flourless Chocolate Torte)

2nd place: Emily Boucher (Smore Cake)

3rd place: Cheri Hasbrouck (White Chocolate Raspberry Ripple)

Youth Winners:

1st place: Klaudia Kutsev (Chocolate Cream Roll)

2nd place: Sadie Wishard (Chocolate Lava Cake)

3rd place: Karl Schwartz (Brownies)
