State FFA Convention Awards on Monday

The Minnesota State FFA Convention concludes today in Minneapolis. During yesterday’s evening session, awards were given out, including the Star in Production Placement, in which Ada-Borup-West FFA senior Gannon Rockstad was one of the finalists. We hear Gannon’s profile presentation from the awards ceremony.

The winner of the Minnesota FFA Star in Production Placement was Adam Hicks of the Tracy Area FFA Chapter.

Also, a number of area FFA members received their State Degree, including:

Ada-Borup-West: Sheyenne Hilde, Gannon Rockstad, Maddi Stene, Grace Visser, Jon Wilprecht

Barnesville: Kaylee Berg

Hawley:  Carl Aakre

Ulen-Hitterdal: Jerran Madson, Lindsey Moore, Reece Brambrink, Drew Jacobson, Addison Yarbrough

Top 5 finalists were announced for various competitions at the convention, including Fosston in Agriculture Mechanics.
