Structure Fire in Polk County

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of smoke coming from a structure at Lucken Trucks and Parts in Winger on Saturday, August 19th at 6:30 am. Winger Fire Department firefighters located and extinguished a minor blaze within the facility. There was moderate damage to the building as a result of the fire and there were no injuries reported. The State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire. The Erskine and Fosston Fire Departments and Essentia Ambulance also responded to assist.
