Three Friends Break World Record For Visiting All 50 States in 5-and-a-half days

Three friends broke a world record by visiting all 50 states in about five-and-a-half days. The guys started in Vermont, drove through all the 48 lower states — and then hopped on planes to get to Alaska and Hawaii.  They completed the trip with a final time of five days, 13 hours and 10 minutes.  They ended up traveling more than 7,200 miles, spending about $12,000 on the trip — and were in their rental car for 120 hours.
