Random Life Hacks to Try:
–”Preparation H” on bug bites makes them instantly stop itching.
–Rubbing alcohol works to get paint off clothes, rubbing alcohol also removes chewing gum.
–Dawn dish soap is better for cleaning tubs than any bathroom cleaner.
–If you have hiccups, eat a spoonful of peanut butter.
–Use a wet knife to chop onions. It reduces tears if you have sensitive eyes.
–For your kitchen garbage, add a mixture of cat litter and baking soda in the bottom before putting the bag in. The litter soaks up any bin juices, and the baking soda stops the bin smelling too badly.
–A pinch of salt in your coffee greatly reduces the amount of sugar and milk you may use and works better than any amount of both.
–If you grind your own coffee or spices, clean that grinder by blending up some white rice inside. It will trap any leftover spices and aromas.
–Cook your eggs in a slice of onion for a perfectly-shaped fried egg ready to go in a sandwich.
–Store your fruit salad in a strainer inside a larger bowl. It keeps the fruit above the juices, and you can just take the strainer out and dump the juice out of the bowl.
–When your toilet bowl is in dire need of a good clean, grab your mouthwash instead of heading to the store to pick up yet another expensive and unnecessary cleaning product. Simply pour a capful of the stuff into your toilet bowl and let it sit for half an hour. When you’re ready to give the bowl a scrub, any grime will come off easily.
–Is that mess from dinner not budging from your pan? Fill it with hot water, drop in an Alka-Seltzer tablet, and let it sit. In about 15 minutes, that mess should wipe up easily.
–Fix a hole in a window screen with clear nail polish. Simply add a swipe of clear nail polish where there’s a rip and it’ll be as good as new in minutes.
