Weird and Wacky Wednesday: “Utah woman rids of ‘negative vibes’ by burning down apartment, complex”

(Sandy, UT)  —  A Utah woman is behind bars after admitting to starting a fire at her apartment complex to burn away “negative energy.”  Around a dozen units were damaged and several residents were displaced by the blaze on Sunday morning.  Thirty-eight-year-old Crystal Moss was arrested after telling police it was her fault.  Court documents reveal she poured a bottle of alcohol on a tree of life inside her bedroom in an effort to “burn away the…sadness and pain in her life.”  She faces one felony arson charge.
