Winter Recreation Opportunities at Itasca State Park 

Snow is falling at Itasca State Park, which means that the park will be opening its many trails for outdoor recreational activities. Itasca State Park Naturalist Connie Cox highlights some of the activities that are available to you during the winter months. 

If you’re not into skiing or snowmobiling, Cox says you could also check out Itasca’s Christmas themed walking trail, or do some ice fishing. 

Finally Cox is also excited to announce that the park has added some new opportunities to do some winter camping and lodging.
