Winter recreation opportunities at Rydell and Glacial Ridge Refuge 

Despite the cold weather and snow Rydell and Glacial Ridge Wildlife Refuge will remain open through the winter. Refuge manager Gregg Knutsen says people are invited to visit the refuge, and partake in some winter outdoor recreation activities. Knutsen highlights some of the fun outdoor activities offered by the refuge. 

However, Knutsen does remind people that snowmobiling is not allowed on either of the refuges.
