Winter Walk at Itasca State Park 

Itasca State Park will be hosting a pair of events this weekend with their Lantern Lit Snowshoe and Ski and Evening Under the Pines events. Itasca Lead Interpretive Naturalist Connie Cox tells us more about these events and the changes that had to be made due to weather. 

Cox says after the Snowshoe and ski event there will also be live music and more through their Evening Under the Pines event. 

Cost to attend these events are free, but vehicle permits are required if you drive to the  event. Those can be purchased at the park or online at www.dnr.state.mn.us. Vehicle passes are $7 for the day or $35 for the year and apply to all of Minnesota’s state parks.
