‘Yoga + Live Music’ Comes to Brainerd High School Field

RELEASE FROM THE LAKES AREA MUSIC FESTIVAL:

Classical music, meditation, and fitness come together in one of the Lakes Area Music Festival’s most popular summer activities. On Saturday, August 13 at 10 a.m., treat yourself to an hour long, outdoor yoga class at Don Adamson Field on the Brainerd High School campus, accompanied by a live, professional string quartet.

The class will be led by Jennifer Smith of Nisswa Yoga, with demonstrations and adjustments by teachers from various local studios. Open to all members of the community without charge or previous yoga experience necessary; donations to support the outreach programs of LAMF will be accepted.

Founded in 2009, the Lakes Area Music Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The 2022 season is  bringing more than 200 artists from around the world to participate in chamber music, symphonic repertoire, opera, outreach, and education.
