$112 Million To MN Energy Assistance Program
The Minnesota Energy Assistance Program has received $112 million in federal funds. This money will be used to help low income families pay their utility bills and keep their homes warm this winter. Last year, the Energy Assistance Program awarded energy assistance to 129,500 Minnesota households. Funding also prevented 43,000 households from having their utilities shut off.
