3 Injured In Motorcycle/Car Accident
FARGO, ND—Three people were injured after a collision between a motorcycle and a car Saturday night in Fargo. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened around 7:30 Saturday night. A motorcycle driven by 20-year-old Avery Quiner of Moorhead was going east on 52nd Avenue South and approaching the intersection of 31st Street South. A car driven by 79-year-old Marcella Schnabel of Detroit Lakes was westbound on 52nd Avenue in the left turn lane. Her car entered the intersection and began to turn. Quiner tried to avoid a collision but the two collided and Quiner was thrown from his motorcycle. Quiner was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Schnabel and a passenger, 82-year-old Ardelle Schwartzrock of Hawley, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Another passenger is Schnabel’s car, 18-year-old Andreya Halvorsen of Hawley, was not injured.
