BBB Climax-Fisher 87, Laporte 51

Climax-Fisher’s boys earned their second victory of the season Monday night, beating Laporte 87-51 in Fisher.

The Knights and Wildcats were tied five times and had six lead changes in the first half before Climax-Fisher ended the half on a 17-7 and took a 42-32 lead at halftime.  Tyler Evitts’ three point play late in the half was a big spark for the Knights.

In the second half, Climax-Fisher pulled away to get their second win of the season against 20 losses. Ryan Morris was one of four Knights scoring with double figures with 26 points.  Tyler Evitts added 18, Gabe Wentzel 11 and Jace Motl scored ten points.  Climax-Fisher also forced 26 turnovers.

Matthew Ingram scored 22 points for Laporte (1-17) with Grant Hamilton adding 18.

The Climax-Fisher boys are off until Tuesday of next week, when they host BGMR in Climax.
