Region 1 Boys Basketball Tournament 3rd Place – Central Cass vs Valley City

Valley City is heading to a State Qualifier on Saturday with a 68-53 win over Central Cass from the Scheels Center in the Division A Region 1 third place contest.

Carson Eggert scored 26 points on his 18th birthday for Valley City and Talon Lason added 19 points. Central Cass finishes 10-14 overall. Cole Holzer paced the Squirrels with 20 points.

Valley City plays Thompson at 3 p.m. on Saturday for a spot in the State Tournament from the Scheels Center on yourliveevent.com.

With a win, the Hi-Liners would make the State Tournament for the first time since 2000.
