Grafton is heading to the North Dakota Division A boys basketball semifinals with a 84-66 win over Beulah on Thursday afternoon from the Fargodome. After trailing by 2 points at halftime, Grafton outscored Beulah 29-16 in the third quarter and never trailed for the rest of the game.
Kyler Droog had 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the floor and grabbed 11 rebounds. The Spoilers (21-4 overall) will play Devils Lake in the semifinals on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The Spoilers and Firebirds split their two matchups in the regular season.
Braylen Schirado had 19 points for Beulah as the Miners (19-5 overall) matchup against Valley City in the consolation semifinals on Friday at 1 p.m.
