North Dakota Highway Patrol holding DUI Checkpoints this Saturday 

The North Dakota Highway Patrol along with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office will be setting up a checkpoint at a premeditated location in order to combat driving under the influence. Sgt. Adam Malafa of the North Dakota Highway Patrol tells us more. 

Malafa says the ultimate goal of the checkpoints is to encourage something called the Vision Zero Strategy and he took some time to explain what Vision Zero is. 

Finally Malafa says education is one of the most important parts of this campaign and he shares what you can do to avoid getting behind the wheel of a vehicle while impaired.
