North Dakota Division A Boys Basketball State Tournament Consolation Semifinals – Valley City vs Beulah

FARGO, N.D. – Valley City is heading to the 5th place game of the North Dakota Division A boys basketball tournament following a 58-54 win over Beulah on Friday afternoon from the Fargodome.
Aidan O’Brien had a chance to tie the contest in the final seconds with a left wing three-pointer but the shot missed for Beulah. Zach Skykora made a free-throw with 0.1 seconds left in regulation to put the game away.
Valley City (13-12 overall) had four players in double digits as Talon Larson scored 12 points and Carson Eggert added 8 points and 12 rebounds. The Hi-Liners play for the consolation championship against of Des Lacs-Burlington or Killdeer at 11:15 on Saturday morning.
Beulah (19-6 overall) was paced by Trace Beauchamp with 20 points and 7 rebounds. The Miners head to the 7th place contest on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
