Cayson Bergee pitched a five-hit shutout and delivered an rbi double as Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton defeated Ada-Borup-West 6-0 Monday at Tony Sipe Field in Ada.
The Rebels scored once in the first inning on Bergee’s double, added two in the third on run-scoring hits by Alex Anderson and Peyton Aas, score an unearned run in the fifth and two more in the seventh. DGF out-hit the Cougars 12-5…with Camden Schreiber, Alex Anderson, Brody O’Keefe and Austin Anderson having two hits apiece.
Ada-Borup-West only had one runner reach third base….in the second inning when the Cougars had runners on first and third with one out and couldn’t bring in a run.
Bergee was the winning pitcher, allowing five hits, no walks, two hit batters, with three strikeouts. He also picked a runner off first base.
Barron Odden took the loss for ABW. In six innings, the senior right-hander allowed eight hits, four runs (three earned), two walks, a hit batter and struck out six. Brennen Fetting pitched the seventh inning, giving up four hits, two runs, no walks and a hit batter, while striking out two.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton improves to 8-6 on the year. The Rebels play a doubleheader Tuesday at Pelican Rapids.
