BB Warroad at Fosston

The Warroad Warriors scored three runs in the second inning and went on to defeat the Fosston Greyhounds 6-1 Monday at Thompson Field in Fosston. Jacob McFarlane went 3 for 3 at the plate for the Warriors as they improve to 4-5 overall. Kannon Hoffman, Liam Grover and Shanx Stricker each had two hits for Warroad. Jakob Rudie, Luke Sannes, Mitchell Mulry and Hudson Boushee each had a single for Fosston as the Greyhounds fall to 8-4 overall. Three pitchers combined to toss a four hitter against the Greyhounds who were playing just their second home game of the season. The Greyhounds scored their only run in the seventh inning.
