Be aware of scams 

Law enforcement agencies across Northwest Minnesota are saying that they have seen an increase in phone and internet scams as of late, and Andrew Hanson of the Fosston Police Department reminds you to be extra cautious of these scams. 

Hanson says people also need to be vigilant of malware scams, he reminds people to check up on their older family members and always report to the police if you think you or someone you know have been a victim of a scam.
