Be BearWise this Summer 

It’s summer, and that means that bears across Minnesota will be coming out in search of food. MN DNR Northwest Area Wildlife Supervisor Rob Baden recommends that people be BearWise this summer and take steps to avoid a bear becoming a regular occurrence in your community. 

Baden says there are ways to safely scare off a bear if one does start poking around where it’s not wanted.
